Then again...maybe not.
So I guess I'll tell you a little about me, my Chaos Space Marine Army, and the goal behind this blog. When people see me they probably think I am the average geek. I play the shit out of board games, I love video games, I dabble in Magic: The Gathering every now and then, and of course I try to beat my opponents to a pulp in Warhammer 40,000. I'm a recent graduate of University and never really had the time to paint my army, and when I did have the time I would just be lazy and do something less productive. As the Blog title says, I'm a lazy, lazy, bastard when it comes to painting.
My group of soldiers is everything you would expect from Chaos as I have some Terminators, Khorne Berzerkers, Bikers, a bunch of Rhino's, the odd Spawn, a Demon Prince, etc. They are mostly unpainted, save for 2 men and a tank. A Khorne Berzerker and a basic Marine and a Rhino (Black Legion). I'll post some pics soon of these. All together I easily have over 70 models that still need spicing up. And yes some of them are not even assembled. As I am typing this I am coming to a swift realization of what kind of journey is still ahead of me and it doesn't look good.

Well Fuck.
But that leads me to the reason I am spawning this Blog from my brain hole. It will motivate me to actually get this done. The other reason I am doing this painting adventure is so that I can try and learn a bunch of different techniques, sift through which ones are good and which ones deserve early graves, and then tell you guys about them! I plan on learning from the Red Shirts at Games Workshop as they are suppose to be pretty damn good I hear, I will also follow tutorials online and I will even read some of the do it yourself books. Through these methods I hope to also learn ways of painting such as detailed painting, basing, factory line painting, and model alteration. And to top it off I will be doing all of this over the span of 5 months (about one model every two days).
With all this said, I hope that anyone and everyone that reads this blog will learn as much as I hope to and also enjoy it. If a lazy painter like me can go from a bunch of units painted, then to a squad painted and then to an entire army painted then my readers can surely do it too!
